Happy Monday!
Dec. 1st, 2008 10:49 amThe dress I bought myself for my 31st birthday (anyone who knows me in person knows the dress), an ivory and black printed DVF number with a sort of 40s neckline, is (I guess) my favorite dress ever. It's the one I always reach for when I am not really feeling high maintenance but need to feel pretty and stylish. I've bought many other dresses since (most of them for a lot less, but still), and none of them compare. Wouldn't it be amazing if I had a closet filled with 12 dresses that I like as much as I like this one?
How many times have I told you that I love Monday? Lots of times, I'm sure. Monday is the day I pursue mental health and happiness!!! I'm headed to spinning, then acupuncture, then coffee with Buster, then yoga, then the Hotel 1000 for some show that includes a collection from Blane of Project Runway. It's almost too hilarious and awesome of a day! I love going out with Lia when she gets VIP media passes because it's always packed with people I would never otherwise meet and drink sugary cocktails amongst.
Actually. I hope I don't drink sugary cocktails, but encourage everyone else to. I'll drink wine, my last (along with holiday egg nog) alcoholic stand-by.
I'm shoving my (probably dirty) dress into a bag and pushing off.

(Someday (maybe soon), I am going to try abandoning my use of parentheses. But when I think about it (like now), I get all kitschy and crazy with use. )
